2-4 July 2015
Professor Stuart Hall Building
Goldsmiths, University of London

This year CIJ Summer Conference is offering a mixture of hands-on sessions, practical mini-courses and talks by some of the leading investigative journalists, teachers and trainers in the world.

Andrew Jennings - FIFA’s most hated journalist, who’s been specialising in investigating sports corruption for many years will be talking about his investigation into FIFA, as well as how to turn ‘worthy’ stories into a fascinating read.

Following on the theme of stories that are difficult to tell, Lindsay Poulton from the Guardian and Jack Serle from the Bureau, will talk about the innovative ways of tackling stories like the environment and use of drones in warfare.

For the first time this year, there will be two dedicated data visualisation classes, for those with some knowledge of coding. Daan Louter of the Guardian will be joining very popular Data Journalism strands.

Dr Richard Stallman, a pioneer of the Free Software movement, will be speaking on Sat 4 July, during Keynotes Day.
