2012malmo_7Fifteen journalists gathered in Malmo to learn, discuss and exchange ideas about television news reporting.  The journalists came from 11 different countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Georgia, Hungary, Malta, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain.

Whilst in Malmo they visited the news operation at SVT and the state-of-the-art complex at Media Evolution. They produced stories ranging from the comparison of cycle tracks in Malmo and Cyprus,  the plight of young immigrants coming to Sweden, the search for a yoga guru or alleged con-man and the comparison of immigration in the fifties to immigration now, seen through the eyes of 2 very different Hungarians.

The training was made possible through the generosity of France Televisions, BBC Wales, HRT Croatia and MTVA Hungary. Facilities were provided by the University of Malmo and thanks must got to SVT Malmo for their superb welcome and support throughout the training and conference.
