CIRCOM Regional is delighted to announce the category winners in the Prix CIRCOM 2020. The winner of the Grand Prix, sponsored by TVP Poland, will be announced separately in a live event on Wednesday 14 October at 2000 CET - register here to receive the link for the event.

Category winners receive a trophy, 1000 euros in cash and travel and accommodation to the next CIRCOM Conference and Prix Gala for two people representing the winning production or station. Category commended receive a certificate and travel and accommodation to the next CIRCOM Conference and Prix Gala for one person representing the winning production or station.

There will be no gala awards ceremony in 2020 but the winners and commended will be invited to the next CIRCOM conference which should be, health restrictions permitting, in Galway, Ireland, in the autumn of 2021.

The entry viewing was completed remotely by the judges and was followed by online jury discussions.

TV3 Catalonia had offered to host judging but this proved impossible because of Covid. It is hoped that the jury may meet in Sitgès near Barcelona in April 2021. If not judging will be remote again.

David Lowen, President of the Prix CIRCOM said: “Congratulations to all winners and commended. There are some superb entries. I thank the judges for their hard work under unusual and difficult conditions. Next it is the Grand Prix – so more to come.

Fernando Ojea, Secretary General of CIRCOM, said: "Despite the unusual background, this is an excellent Prix CIRCOM, showing again the best productions of regional public service broadcasters across Europe. Thanks to the judges and CIRCOM team - and congratulations to the winners and commended. I hope all CIRCOM members study the Jury Report and that every station can broadcast these winning productions."
