September 23rd 2021, 11.00-12.30 (CEST)

Climate Change is the biggest story you’ll ever cover. But how well equipped do you feel to report it? How easy is it to find new stories and make them relevant to your audience?

CIRCOM run this free session on finding and telling climate change stories just a few weeks prior to the COP 26,  the UN Climate Change conference being described as the world’s ‘last best chance’ to save the planet.

Hosted by working journalists from the Solutions Journalism Network, this online workshop focused not only on the problems of climate change, but on how people respond to those problems. Solutions stories outperform problem-focused news. And research shows audiences find them more interesting, trustworthy and uplifting.
The workshop was aimed for journalists, editors or producers working at a news or current affairs outlet and with need of a fresh way of looking at climate change stories
