As announced in the Media & Audiovisual Action Plan and the European Democracy Action Plan, the European Commission is stepping up efforts to help news media organisations across Europe collaborate and become stronger. An overview of opportunities for cross-border projects will be presented online, on Wednesday 6 April at 11h CET.

After a short introduction explaining wider media policy, the Executive Agency will explain practical details for the second yearly call for journalism partnerships (deadline 7 September).

After that, the European Commission will briefly present other funding opportunities that are expected this summer/autumn, incl. support for innovation, media platforms, youth media, regional media, media representation and for a festival on journalism & media literacy.

There will be room for questions & answers, and the meeting will be recorded. If questions remain, applicants can approach any of the Creative Europe Desks
