TG4, the Irish language broadcaster in Ireland, was awarded the Fáilte Ireland ambassador award in recognition of hosting the Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional in Galway in 2022. Over 300 participants from European broadcasters travelled to the West Atlantic Coast to explore the theme of Creative Regions, Creative Economy.

On behalf of TG4 Lís Ní Dhálaigh, Director of Marketing, Development and Partnerships at TG4, and Caroline Ní Dubhchóin, Marketing Producer at the media, accepted the award, which Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority of Ireland adjudges for contribution to the country's economy.
