CIRCOM Regional received the EITB Saria Award at the FesTVal in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Basque Country, Spain

EITB, the Basque Radio and Television, is the host media of the festival. “We are delighted to acknowledge the significant milestone of CIRCOM Regional's 40th anniversary of holding Annual Conferences.

"We at EITB value the contributions of CIRCOM Regional to fostering collaboration and exchange within regional television in Europe. This award presentation is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate these achievements on a broader stage”, said EITB’s Director General, Andoni Aldekoa, who presented the trophy to the CIRCOM Regional Secretary General, Fernando Ojea, at the closing ceremony of the FesTVal.

This year EITB awarded also FORTA, the Federation of Autonomous Radio and Television Organisations or Entities of Spain, in recognition of their 35th anniversary.

Founded in 2009, FesTVal is a pioneering event for television media in Spain. Held every year in early September, it focuses on the TV channels’ main premieres of and platforms for the autumn-winter season. It also features the presence of the most famous artists and faces on the TV screen in Spain.
