24-25 April 2025
Hosted by SVT in Gothenburg, Sweden

This 2-days workshop helps anyone managing a team to understand how their style of leadership impacts team members and how well they work.

You can expect a highly interactive workshop which offers practical tools as well as the chance to share experiences with colleagues from across European regional TV stations. It helps to build confidence and leadership know-how with discussion and self-reflection on 3 key themes:

Are you a manager or a leader? - What’s the difference and why does it matter when going through change?
Clarity & Feedback - Does your team understand what’s expected of them? And how effective is your feedback so they know how to do better tomorrow?
Empowerment - Create leaders not followers. Why, and how can you do this?

This training is suited to those new to the role of leading people as well as those who are more experienced. It doesn’t matter which platform you work on, whether you’re editorial or technical.

The workshop is led by Linda Hermansson from SVT, helped by Gordana Škaljac Narančić from HRT.

The workshop will be held at SVT station at Pumpgatan 2, Gothenburg.
Arrival date: Wednesday 23rd April with a welcome dinner at 1900hrs.
