Video upload instructions
Video files are uploaded via FTP server. Each video, including those in English, must have full subtitling in English sufficient for the judges to be able to understand what is being said.
On FTP server you can also upload additional materials, like images or .doc/.pdf presentations of your programme (please make sure all materials are clearly marked!). FTP credentials you will receive by email when you submitt your entry.
Please upload files up to 10GB in size (broadcast quality is NOT needed for judging purposes; 5 Mbps quality is sufficient).
The required video codec is H.264.
VLC Media Player will be used for viewing the videos during judging, so you may want to check your video in VLC player before upload (VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)

Prix CIRCOM 2020

RTBF’s docu-series Street-Tease (Ma Rue couche-toi là) has won the award for the “best of the best” in the Prix CIRCOM 2020, sponsored by TVP Poland.
The announcement was made in a live zoom gathering across Europe on Wednesday 14 October 2020.
Léa Zilber and Marc Dacosse, directors, acknowledged the Grand Prix award on behalf of RTBF, winning 3,000 euros, travel and accommodation to a gala ceremony in Ireland next year (virus controls permitting) and a trophy. More >>
Category winners receive a trophy, 1000 euros in cash and travel and accommodation to the next CIRCOM Conference and Prix Gala for two people representing the winning production or station. Category commended receive a certificate and travel and accommodation to the next CIRCOM Conference and Prix Gala for one person representing the winning production or station.

There will be no gala awards ceremony in 2020 but the winners and commended will be invited to the next CIRCOM conference which should be, health restrictions permitting, in Galway, Ireland, in the autumn of 2021.
The entry viewing was completed remotely by the judges and was followed by online jury discussions.

TV3 Catalonia had offered to host judging but this proved impossible because of Covid. It is hoped that the jury may meet in Sitgès near Barcelona in April 2021. If not judging will be remote again.
David Lowen, President of the Prix CIRCOM said: “Congratulations to all winners and commended. There are some superb entries. I thank the judges for their hard work under unusual and difficult conditions. Next it is the Grand Prix – so more to come.”
Fernando Ojea, Secretary General of CIRCOM, said: "Despite the unusual background, this is an excellent Prix CIRCOM, showing again the best productions of regional public service broadcasters across Europe. Thanks to the judges and CIRCOM team - and congratulations to the winners and commended. I hope all CIRCOM members study the Jury Report and that every station can broadcast these winning productions."
