This 2-days workshop helps anyone managing a team to understand how their style of leadership impacts team members and how well they work.
A highly interactive workshop offered practical tools as well as the chance to share experiences with colleagues from across European regional TV stations. It helped participants to build confidence and leadership know-how with discussion and self-reflection on 3 key themes:
• Are you a manager or a leader? - What’s the difference and why does it matter when going through change?
• Clarity & Feedback - Does your team understand what’s expected of them? And how effective is your feedback so they know how to do better tomorrow?
• Empowerment - Create leaders not followers. Why, and how can you do this?
The training is suited for those new to the role of leading people as well as those who are more experienced. It doesn’t matter which platform you work on, whether you’re editorial or technical.
The workshop was led by Linda Hermansson from SVT, helped by Gordana Škaljac Narančić from HRT.
