There are a lot of people to thanks for the success of the academy over the years.
This 5th CIRCOM Summer Academy was the last in it’s current form and we are extremely grateful to the Robert Bosch Foundation for their support and sponsorship during the past five years. The Robert Bosch Foundation were superb partners with CIRCOM, they allowed us to run the academy with no editorial or logistical interference.
Without their support 100 journalists would not have benefitted from this truly rewarding pan-European experience. Thanks to them European television journalism has a bright and youthful future.
We must also thank the European Parliament for their hospitality during our visits to Strasbourg. Also the Berufsforderungswerk Gastehaus in Nuremberg for their superb service and patience.
There are too many people to mention individually who have helped us and contributed to making our stories, thank you to all of them.
Thanks to all the trainers and people who contributed to the course content. And finally we must especially thank Heike Steigler for all the work she has put in over the years to realise the vision that Peter Sauer had for training young journalists.
