Short Description

The Deputy General Secretary of CIRCOM Regional, M-Paule Urban incited French-speaking CR members from the Eastern countries to take part in that series, - 50 documentaries of individuals living in Africa, Asia, America, Europe telling their story... -, co-produced by the `International Council of French-speaking Radios and TV Televisions` (CIRTEF) in partnership with CR Regional and with the support of the „Intergovenmental Agency of French-speaking communities“. These coproducers have entirely taken charge of the travel and accomodation costs for members while abroad for the feasibility of the project, from research of the portrait to the script and to the realisation, from editing to broadcasting. The CR member stations are Sofia in Bulgaria, Zagreb in Croatia, MTB in FYR Macedonia, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara in Romania and Moldova  who all have produced a portrait of women and men turning 50 in the year 2000.
