Short Description

At the begining, this project was proposed by RAI and France 3.

Topic: general, ecological and economic aspects of mountains and all the problems of mountainous regions all over Europe.

The ecological balance is in serious danger, as an increasing number of persons is doing sport in the mountains (skiing, mountain-biking etc..)

Latest Development

SWR Baden-Baden proposed a similar project in the framework of the International Year of the Mountains 2002 at the conference in Potsdam 2000. Unfortunately no co-production or production was achieved between SWR and CIRCOM Regional stations and the German station decided not to pursue the project, but the topic may be kept as an idea.
