Short Description
The programme is a portrayal of the cultural activities of the rural population in its spare time. It shows how village communities still preserve their ancestral habits, celebrating collective festivities or developing activities connected with music, drama, popular poetry, and handicrafts which reflect the ”popular soul”. Other aspects could be religion and local gastronomy in rural life.

Each region can contribute programmes on its own traditions.
