Short Description

In the last three years SVT has produced 70 short videodiaries under the title of P.S. It is a series that depict the everyday life of young people – for young people, by young people. The P.S. programmes are shot on DV by the 13-18 years old participants. The films are always about something in their own lives, and in spite of rough edition by SVT producers, the young filmmakers have final cut and can decide what material will be shown and not. The P.S. series has turned out to be a great success and has given a unique insight in Swedish teenagers lives.

SVT is proposing an international series based on the P.S. format. The production model is based on the idea that many countries agree on the format and produce a number of episodes, of which the best are exchanged with the others.

Form of cooperation
At least six countries participate, each country makes 10 films a year and sends the five best to the others. That gives each participant 35 films for the price of ten. Besides it will give the series an international outlook and a more varied series.

Latest development
Many CR stations manifested their interest in this project and first discussions with stations from Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia already took place.
