Short Description
The project, yet running for 5 years, is already existing in the framework of the EBU and achieves very high audience rates.

„City Folk“ is a new approach to the multicultural life in big European cities. The reports are describing people living in cities showing their habits and living conditions. Every program consists of three portraits. The three characters in City Folk are a reflection of the Urban Society - One of them is always a migrant, one of them is (also) a woman. One is old and one is young -. All stories are timeless.

The production schedule is running in a very strict way following a detailed co-production agreement. For example, the programmes should be overvoiced or subtitled, there is a yearly participation fee of DM 2500 for each member, all these details are available in a very precise production sheet.
