Short description
The European Parliamentary Report is the first TV-format in Germany which concentrates on the work of the European Parliament. It shows in a light and sometimes even entertaining way how the decisions which are made in Strasbourg affect each and every one living in the EU. A reference video is available on the internet:

Examples of the past issues:
- A majority in the Parliament gave the green light for the further opening up of the Community postal services to competition. We introduced a small private postal service and showed how the new law affected their work.
- The Parliament prepared a debate about the Commission´ s final report on the first phase of the Community action programme Leonardo Da Vinci. We introduce two of these international "Leonardo"- projects and talked to German worker who participated in a exchange program with Malta.

The programme is produced by TV Süd and is supported by the European Parliament. TV Süd is looking for other partners to enlarge this production.
