Short description
The Rhine is one of Europe's longest rivers and extends over more than 1300 kilometers. It goes through five countries and even more European regions , and each one has it s own culture and culinary traditions. This 12-part documentary series is an original portrait of the Rhine with it s landscape, inhabitants and it s cuisine. "The Gourmet Rhine" is a stroll through the heritage and the gatronomy of the regions bordering the Rhine.
This co-production has proven a great success for all the partners with very good audience rates and a further cooperation in this form on new topics is envisaged.
