VICE PRESIDENT OF CIRCOM Regional
Currently Jose is Director of Public, International Affairs and Archive of RTP.
He started his career in RTP as journalist in 1976. He was also Director of Azores Regional Television Channel, RTP Production Director and Director of RTP International Channels.
During the eighties he was deeply involved with CIRCOM and was the President of the Jury of first edition of Prix CIRCOM Regional.
He has a Degree in Law by Lisbon Classic University.
The last twenty years he has been teacher of television studies first in Coimbra University (96/98) and since than at Portuguese Catholic University in Lisbon.
He represents RTP at EBU where he has been involved in different groups, at PBI, URTI, OTI, Euronews and other international television organizations and projects.
He is 58 years old and was born in Sao Miguel Island, Azores
Zoran Medved

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER, NATIONAL COORDINATOR FOR SLOVENIA
Zoran is journalist and programme executive with 35 years of journalist’s experiences, 28 years on RTV Slovenia. His current position is Editor in Chief of RTVSLO Maribor.
He was formerly the Editor of Culture and Arts on TV Slovenia, the Editor of Current Affairs daily programme on TV Slovenia, the Managing Editor of TV Maribor, first Editor-in-chief of the Morning Programme on TV Slovenia, Deputy Director of TV Slovenia for regional channels.
He has doctor’s degree in Communication Theories. He helds seminars for students of Media Communications as an assistant lecturer at the University of Maribor.
David Lowen

Board member and President of the Prix CIRCOM Regional
David was President of CIRCOM and has organised several conferences. He currently runs the Prix and chairs its judging panels.
In 30 years with ITV, he was an award-winning programme producer, board Director of Network Programme Development and later board Director of Corporate Development for Yorkshire Television before leading ITV Network’s digital terrestrial television launch project, the first successful such launch in the world.
He was appointed Director General of EuroNews, Europe’s most watched news channel, to rescue the broadcaster from a funding crisis and to lead the journalistic coverage of the second Iraq War.
He now runs International Television and Media Consulting Ltd, with many European broadcasters among his clients.
He is Chairman of SysMedia Group plc, specialising in software development and service provision for broadcast interactivity, onscreen text and closed subtitling worldwide and whose business was recently sold to an American-backed group.
He is a non-executive director of a local station, a television and film development company and a format creation and distribution company. He also advises a corporate finance group on mergers and acquisitions in the media sector.
David is an Honorary Fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Alexandre is the Coordinator of CIRCOM coproductions, Executive Committee member as well as coordinator of RTBF’s European projects.
For the past 10 years, he coordinates various platforms of cooperation for EBU and URTI, and is currently developing a catalog of international and European programmes for the third RTBF digital channel La Trois. He was formerly an executive producer of numerous RTBF’s programmes and coproductions.
Multimedia author and script editor, he is also a member of Belgian Societies of Authors, SABAM, the Association of Audiovisual Writers, and Cinescripts.
Fernando R. Ojea

Fernando works at Corporación Radio e Televisión de Galicia since 2009. His current position is Head of Content.
Prior to this he worked as head of business news and editor-in-chief at La Voz de Galicia, and as editor of Atlantico Diario, both daily newspapers from Galicia (Spain).
Studies: Bachelor of Communication at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master's degree in Broadcast Media Studies at Universidade da Coruña. Diplomate in Senior Management at Afundacion Business School.
